Apprenticeship Training Instructor The Trustees of Des Moines Electrical Apprenticeship Training Trust announce an opening at the Des Moines Electrical Apprenticeship Training Center in Des Moines for a FULL-TIME ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR. The successful candidate will: Have a minimum of seven years of experience as a journeyman in the electrical construction building trade. Have a current State of Iowa Electrical Journeyman or Master License Have experience in motor control, conduit bending, blueprint reading, AC and DC theory. Be proficient with the National Electrical Code This is a salaried position of 40 - 45 hours a week. This includes some evenings plus some over-night travel. Fringe benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance, pension and NEBF pension. The successful candidate will be required to attend basic and advanced education and certification training. This training may require travelling out of town 2-6 weeks per year.
