Business Process Analyst

The City of Bellevue Utilities Department is responsible for providing water, wastewater, storm drainage, and solid waste services for the City of Bellevue service area.  The Department is currently recruiting for a Business Process Analyst. This position provides financial and business process analysis, data analysis, project implementation, budget monitoring, and maintenance support within the Utilities Systems and Finance Groups for Utilities staff and management. Business process responsibilities include interviewing users, documenting user requirements, interpreting and representing data for business intelligence, business case development, user acceptance testing of business systems, and creation of user documentation and training materials.  Supported systems include utility billing, asset and work management, voice response and online payment systems, and other systems as needed. Work content includes Utilities SharePoint support and site development and enhancement and support of business process flows. Financial process responsibilities include supporting budget development, financial monitoring and reporting, and special projects as assigned. Financial data analysis and visual representation of data is a critical and regular part of the job.
