Legal Secretary - Prosecution Division

The City of Bellevue Prosecutor's Office handles a gross-misdemeanor, misdemeanor, infraction and appellate caseload.  We are looking for someone who is able to perform a variety of routine and complex clerical, secretarial, and administrative support work. We are also looking for someone who:

  • is effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small/large groups, or among diverse styles, and position levels;
  • is able to listen attentively and confirm their understanding of what has been said,
  • demonstrates self-awareness;
  • will seek and act on feedback from a variety of sources;
  • will embrace feedback in a positive manner;
  • is resourceful, adapts quickly to change, and works well in a team setting;
  • understands the need for procedure but isn't hesitant to identify a new way of operating;
  • can multi-task and optimize their time.
