ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : The primary purpose of this job is to provide support to the Real Estate Lending areas and their customers as it pertains to all aspects of mortgage and construction loans. Process payments and advances on all types of mortgage and construction loans, input Mortgage and Construction Loans to the FIS system, pay all hazard, flood and PMI insurance for all customers escrowing for this activity, process all maintenance to the FIS system pertaining to Mortgage loans, provide payoffs on all mortgage and construction loans, process all secondary market loan activity including: sold loans/funding, wire account activity, general ledger entries and 1098/1099-S entries, ensure all mortgage loan customers provide proof of insurance on an annual basis, if not, force place insurance as required by the Bank's guidelines, provide customer service to both internal and external customers with questions on Real Estate Loans, research any inquiries as they relate to the Mortgage loan area. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED. REQUIRED SKILLS: knowledge of Mortgage Loan documentation and processing, multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, Project Management skills, customer service skills, both internal and external, good problem solving skills.
