Building Inspector/ Code Enforcement Officer

Building Inspector/ Code Enforcement Officer

Performs building plan review and inspections for compliance with applicable codes. Participates in permitting operations, monitors code compliance cases in-progress to assure compliance with notifications and timelines, and responds to complaints that initiate compliance investigations. Because of the small number of City employees, each staff member is expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties as may be required from time to time.

The City may determine, and reserves the right to, modify this position and create two separate part time or full time positions: a building inspection position and a code enforcement position.  At this time the position is one FTE with responsibility for building inspection and code enforcement.

Position is open until filled.  First review of applicants will begin July 18, 2016.
