Facilities Manager

Under the direction of the General Manager is responsible for total maintenance for the campus, including four buildings, parking lots and grounds covering 25 acres, and all fixed equipment. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and guests. Exercises initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks. Essential Functions Directly responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program within the confines of an annual budget. This includes all heating, air conditioning, maintenance and repair of the campus and equipment. Maintains plan for fire evacuation and disaster response; serves as facility Emergency Response Coordinator. Coordinates safety plans and drills for emergency situations. Responsible for hazardous waste disposal programs. Maintains Material Safety Data Sheet program. Maintains up-to-date records for all state, federal and insurance semi-annual and annual requirements and inspections. Supervises Facility Technician(s). Responsible for interviewing, hiring and terminating employees. Conducts performance reviews and makes salary adjustment recommendations. Works with other teams and departments across campus proactively and professionally as needed. Additional Responsibilities Coordinate janitorial services utilizing an external vendor Manages budget for personal protective and other safety equipment Coordinates Environmental Health & Safety Program Ensures visual standards of Willis Auto Campus are met regarding buildings and grounds Qualifications Four year degree in a related field required. May substitute experience for degree. Seven years of progressive experience required in facility management or a related field Two years experience working with safety programs preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing Working knowledge of OSHA and other federal, state and local regulations Working knowledge of organization policies and standards Proven ability to work as part of a team Working & Physical Conditions This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will work outside occasionally. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, paint and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, 25-50 pounds of force frequently and 10-20 pounds of force constantly. When applying for this position, please mention you found it on JobDig.
