Facilities Administrative Assistant

This position is responsible for providing intermediate to advanced administrative support wherein technical knowledge of the function is a prerequisite and job duties are quasi-professional rather than clerical in nature.  Persons in this position may function in a "lead" role with regard to ongoing work or special project assignments but will primarily provide accounting support for the Facilities Division of the Civic Services Department.  The incumbent will be responsible for the timely processing of purchase requisitions/orders, invoice payments, payroll processing, credit card reconciliations, petty cash oversight and other financial and administrative duties.  Other responsibilities include handling occasional administrative requests from managers within the department and general office duties as assigned.
