Faculty Research Degrees Administrator (PHP-CEN-02)

Category: Professional Support | Department: PHP Central | Closing Date: 09 Mar 2016 |  We are looking for a well organised administrator to help ensure the smooth running of the Faculty’s Research Degree Programme (PhD, DrPH and MPhil). The postholder will work closely with the Faculty Research Degrees Manager in supporting the research degree students and facilitating their training. This is an interesting and varied role, requiring a constant shifting of priorities and the ability to cope with the demanding requirements of supporting the research degree programme. Applicants should have proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, excellent communication skills, excellent word processing and PowerPoint skills, the ability to collect, organise and monitor data efficiently. S/he will have a good knowledge of issues affecting Higher Education. Experience in higher education and of minute taking is desirable.   Salary will be on the LSHTM Professional Support pathway Grade 4, £27,962 - £31,808 per annum including London Weighting.
