Faculty Administrator and Executive Assistant (ITD-AAA-02)

Category: Professional Support | Department: ITD Central | Closing Date: 15 Mar 2016 | The Faculty of Infectious and Tropical Diseases requires a Faculty Administrator and Executive Assistant to support the Dean of Faculty, Professor Brendan Wren and the Chair of Virology, Professor Polly Roy.  The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality support to these two senior academic staff as well as supporting the Faculty Office as part of a team, working closely with the Faculty Operating Officer.  Applicants must be experienced in executive support, including secretarial support, diary management, with excellent communication skills.  The role would suit an individual who is motivated, proactive, able to work without close supervision and maintain complete confidentiality.  She/he will often be the first point of contact for people approaching the Faculty and needs to be organised and enthusiastic.  The post is offered on a without duration basis and is available immediately.
