Commercial Real Estate Assistant-Administrative Assistant II

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : This position will provide administrative support within the Commercial Real Estate Department. Process and book new and renewed commercial loans. Organize credit and document files as needed. Prepare cashier's checks and tickets for loan closings on an as needed basis. File UCC's, mortgages, assignments, and deeds, in relation to loan closing and proactive checklist. Contact borrower or other appropriate party if requested in order to obtain all necessary items to complete requirements. Loan payments and advances. Take loan payments over to Commercial Loan Operations for processing. Process any account transfers same day or within time frame requested. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE : High School Diploma or equivalent; five or more years customer service-oriented environment; five years loan documentation experience preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS: Some banking or other related financial experience desired; Understanding of commercial and banking operations; Ability to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the Bank organization, Communication, organizational and problem solving skills, Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, and One Point.
