PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

Provides leadership, support and expert knowledge at the Finance Operations team level to ensure process, customer, and deadline requirements are met effectively and efficiently. Proactively identifies, analyzes, and implements process improvements. Represents department as a liaison with other departments and customers. Leads projects on cross-functional teams, resolving increasingly complex problems.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Process Knowledge (~25-40%): Possess broad, expert knowledge of finance operations and cash applications processes. Thinks strategically and aligns contributions with the direction of the business. Implement and drive process improvement initiatives/efforts at the team, functional, or broader organizational level. Champions continuous process improvement mindset. Tests and implements new systems and processes. Identifies information gaps and takes initiative to fill them.
- Analysis & Project Management (~20-30%): Responsible for increasingly complex problem solving, troubleshooting, and system and/or data problems. Leads and participates in cross-functional project teams.
- Interpersonal/Team Skills (~20-30%): Coaches and trains others on team or across teams. Acts as a positive role model; provides leadership and work direction within Finance and to business partners. Optimizes team talent through coaching and mentoring. Prepares documentation and conducts training. Exemplifies professionalism in communications at all times. Organizes and facilitates meetings, such as team meeting, task forces, and committees. Participates in the performance management process (e.g. peer reviews, self-evaluation).
- Production/Support (~5-10%): Expert on all skills required to sustain an efficient production workflow. Communicates with internal and/or external customers specifically regarding issue resolution. Develops strategy and drives team goals by setting and meeting deadlines. Qualifications
- University/College degree required.
- 8-10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Expert process, product and systems knowledge, teamwork and technical skills.
- Global experience and Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
- Strong project management, problem solving and organizational skills, six sigma, lean or similar experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong learning agility. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to increasingly complex and changing work.
- Technical aptitude for computer applications and systems included but not limited to MS Office Suite. SAP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple assignments and tasks.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem solving on an individualized level and within the context of a team environment.
- Normal office hours and environments. Extra hours may be required to meet deadlines.
