Human Resources Specialist

Current Openings at Bankers Trust: Human Resources Specialist Responsible for providing support for a wide variety of activities in human resources including employee relations, recruiting, and administration of policies and procedures, special projects, and performing a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for further developing and managing the recruitment process to include candidate sourcing, reviewing application, consulting with hiring managers and candidates Create recruitment advertising and online postings, developing strategic applicant sourcing techniques and recruiting solutions. Proactively represent the Bank at recruitment and community events Assess potential candidates for fit within the position identified, including skills, education, and experience. Screen, evaluate, and recommend applicants for interviews Develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies and partners particular in the area of diversity. Maintain and strengthen relationship with universities, employment agencies and other recruitment resources Check applicant references, make job offers, draft offer letters for new hires Support the VP Staffing & Development Officer with employee relations, serve as an advisor to management, improve employee morale, participate in investigations, and maintain an employee-friendly atmosphere. Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field and/or equivalent work experience 2 plus years Human Resources work experience Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations both state and federal related to employment Recruiting experience preferred Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to consult with employees and managers, exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations REQUIRED SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills Interviewing and analytical skills Decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality Active listening and problem solving skills Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and Word WORK SCHEDULE: Mon.-Fri 8:00am to 5:00 pm BANKERS TRUST HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION Affirmative Action/Equal opportunity Employer.
