The purpose of this position is to supervise and direct the work of the Community Wellness team in planning, implementing, and evaluating community health programs administered through the Community Wellness Grant. This work spans a three county wide area to include community organizing, promotion of healthy behaviors, and empowering the community to make needed changes for health and lifestyle improvements. Responsible for policy and legislative action and sustainable actions beyond the grant. This position is contingent upon grant funding. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelorâs Degree in the field of Education, Community Health, Health Science, or a related field with three years of experience or more in the field of health education, public relations, media coordination or an equivalent combination.
