Faculty Office Administrator (EG-1)

Category: Professional Support | Department: Faculty of Public Health & Policy | Closing Date: 17 May 2015 | We are seeking to appoint an administrator to work within the Public Health & Policy Faculty office. The post-holder will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Faculty working closely with the Faculty Office Manager and the Faculty Operating Officer to ensure the smooth running of the Faculty Office. This is an interesting position in a multi-disciplinary Faculty with three large research departments, and would provide an excellent route into a career in Higher Education administration for the right candidate.  The ideal candidate will be well-organised, efficient and proactive with excellent communication and problem solving skills, good standard of IT skills and commitment to continuing professional development. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team. This is a full time post, with the option to give consideration to a part time working request to 80% FTE, commencing as soon as possible, and open-ended. Category: Academic | Department: Faculty of Epidemiology & Population Health | Closing Date: 16 Aug 2015 | We seek to recruit a talented scientist to undertake a full-time position designed to offer epidemiological and statistical analysis of cancer survival in England for use in national publications, in collaboration with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which provides the funding for this post. The post-holder will work independently as well as with other epidemiologists and statisticians on the national cancer survival statistics as well as research in pursuit of the aims of the Cancer Survival Group.
