Description



To create maximum value from assigned products, by developing, implementing and controlling marketing strategy and promotional mix.



To maximize the potential of the assigned products through the:

• Development of Brand Plans and Forecasts for the assigned product, including details of brand marketing strategy, tactical plan/promotional mix, sales-force resources and sales projections, etc.

• Execution of product marketing tactical plan/promotional mix and ensuring that these plans are implemented optimally to meet agreed milestones and objectives

• Leadership of product specific cross-functional Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, compliance and Sales teams that delivers competitive advantages

• Integration and co-ordination of Marketing Sales activities through effective sales force engagement efforts

• Assessment of sales performance and identification of variances to plan; recommendation and implementation of proposals that rectify or capitalize on current sales performance

• In consultation with Demand Management and with input from the Sales function, the production on a monthly basis of consensus, rolling demand forecasts

• Collection, analyses and monitoring of market intelligence including competitors information

• Control of marketing and promotional expenditure within the allocated budget and the leveraging of this expenditure to achieve maximum ROI

• Management and control of advertising/PR agencies as appropriate

• In consultation with Market Research team, the input to the implementation of relevant market research programs

• In consultation with NPP and/or BD function, the input to the development of commercial value appraisals for new products or business opportunities

• In consultation with Market Access/External Affairs function, the input to development and execution of market access plan



Qualifications



Qualification, experience& key behavior competency Required:

• University degree – preferably science or business

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment

• Sales experience is essential; product management experience is preferred

• External knowledge – healthcare system, market environment, insight into customer and competitors

• Strong analytical skill & strategic thinking ability

• Strong execution ability with a systematic approach to planning and problem solving

• Proven communications and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a diverse group of internal and external individuals

• Customer-focused

• Team-oriented

• Good written & verbal English

Proficiency in use of standard software applications
