TelCom Construction is a growing national underground utility contractor with Corporate offices located in Clearwater, MN, looking for motivated employees to join our team. Job assignments throughout the upper Midwest include the following: Des Moines, Davenport and Marion, IA We are currently hiring for a variety of positions including: CONSTRUCTION LABORER FIELD SUPERVISOR DRILL LOCATOR DIRECTIONAL DRILL FOREMAN While actual duties vary by position, they may include but are not limited to digging trenches, cable handling, locating utilities, site restoration, running heavy equipment, etc. as it relates to utility construction. While travel is necessary for most positions, NO LONG TERM travel is required (5-10 day rotations is typical) and overtime is frequently available. Previous experience in a construction environment, particularly telecommunications construction, is preferred but will train the ideal candidate. All candidates are subject to pre-placement background, DOT physical and drug screenings, and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. A good driving record is required, Class A CDL is a plus !
