Mortgage Closing Assistant

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure loans are ready to close on scheduled closing date by ordering required items and assisting closers. Prepare loan file for pre-closing, order and follow up on payoffs and insurance prior to closing, ensure title opinion is obtained and sent to all parties prior to closing, help closers distribute closing checks, prepare closing checks for closers review, prepare, documents for filing, assign MERS numbers, prepare title package, assist with post-closing funding hold, assist with l post- closing follow up, releases and final title policies EDUCATION/EXERPIENCE : High School Diploma/GED. REQUIRED SKILLS : experience in the mortgage industry with general overall understanding of the entire mortgage loan process, good written and oral skills.
