Lead Lock Box Representative

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates and directs the work of the weekday Lockbox staff, acts back-up to the department manager when manager is out of the office or unavailable due to meetings, etc., assists with research, corrections and training as needed by department manager, assists with customer communication by phone and/or in person when manager is unavailable. Participates with Cash Management for business calls (telephone/in person) when manager is unavailable. Learns and understands all Lockbox account processing. Opens mail and prepares payments received for data entry reporting. Processes mail according to customer instructions. Prepares checks received to be deposited to customer accounts, provides complete and accurate reporting, transmissions, check copies or other information as determined by customer and Cash Management officer; assists other Lockbox staff with transmission issues as well as system technical problem solving. Coordinates and directs the daily workflow of the weekday Lockbox processing staff, acts as back-up to the department manager when manager is out of the office or unavailable, assists with research, error corrections and training as needed by the department manager, assists with customer communication by phone and/or in person when manager is unavailable, participates with Cash Management for business calls (by phone and/or in person) when manager is unavailable, learns and understands all Lockbox account processing, receives mail from the Post Office and sorts by box number and customer, coordinates which accounts are processed each day depending upon mail volume, assists other staff with assigned accounts, answers staff questions concerning processing and directs those questions or issues with Lockbox Manager if needed, opens mail for assigned Lockbox accounts, prepares mail for data entry, enters specific pre-determined information into the Lockbox PC system, print necessary reports, balances checks to completed report totals, prepares transmissions of data and images to be deployed to I-View system, provides complete reporting, transmissions, check copies and other required information to the Lockbox customer, assists weekday staff in preparing transmissions of data and images to be deployed to I-View, assists with transmission issues as well as system technical problem solving. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE : High School diploma / GED, computer knowledge, Alpha/numeric data entry, clerical skills or previous Lockbox experience desired. REQUIRED SKILLS : CRT experience, 10-key skills, data entry skills, balancing, copying, excel experience, attention to detail and accuracy, previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
