Entry-level professional/technical position.  Provides primary day-to-day customer contact for the Planning Department through counter and telephone coverage.  Conducts technical review of single-family and other minor residential and commercial building permits.  Processes minor administrative development applications. Reviews applications for completeness and compliance with codes, and calculates and receipts fees. Supports Code Enforcement, including code analysis and site visits.  Works with other department members in collaborative problem solving and completion of tasks.
