Midwest Railcar Repair, Inc. is growing! We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated with a desire to learn and succeed. In this position, an individual will repair and/or rebuild railroad cars to specifications. The repairs generally require welding, metal working, and mechanical skills while under the guidance of a foreman/supervisor. Training is provided. Shifts available: 6:00 am to 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday with night differential pay Benefits include: $250 hiring bonus after successfully completing 6 months and another $250 after successfully completing one year Health and Life Insurance Paid Holiday, Vacation and Sick Leave 401(k) Starting wage $18.50 an hour with additional pay increases in the first 90 days and opportunities for advancement!
