Chief Information Officer

E SSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : The Chief Information officer is responsible for the Strategy, Planning and Support of all Enterprise Technology functions ensuring implementation and maintenance of bank wide systems in accordance with regulatory guidance and best practices. The CIO is also responsible for overseeing Information Security for all bank systems and managing IT Risk Management and cyber-related threats. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Define metrics based on overall business objectives, control performance objectives and overall IT budget including IT procurement; establish and manage strategic outsourced service provider and vendor partnerships; align IT risk management with enterprise wide risk management efforts, plan and manage strategic IT initiatives, IT policies and define enterprise architecture standards; evaluate and properly align staff to efficiently deliver services according to departmental and Bank's objectives, meet frequently with business line leaders to ensure IT efforts are aligned with business needs and objective; develop, implement and manage a project management system to manage the overall priorities for the Bank; as a key member of Bankers Trust Management team, work directly with both the senior and executive management teams through written and verbal communication to lead the bank on all fronts related to IT and Security; continually review hardware, software and security infrastructures to make certain that everything meets regulations as well as assist the Bank in monitoring regulatory compliance, maintain strong and effective relationships with bank examiners and auditors, ensuring the needs of annual examinations are met efficiently, document regulatory and audit findings and report on measures undertaken to address material findings and recommendations. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or MIS, ten+ years of IT management experience. Experience in Financial Services preferred, fifteen to twenty years of combined IT experience, breadth in IT background to include a strong understanding of integrated application development, network/telecom and enterprise technology capabilities, strong overall business acumen, solid business vision and a strong conviction to service quality and that customers come first, five+ years of experience working in a highly regulated industry. REQUIRED SKILLS: Solid IT management experience, project management experience including Agile methodology and a keen ability to set priorities, networking and Application Development background, excellent written and oral communications, ability to effectively present ideas to management and to the Board, strong budget experience.
