This role will be based in Carrollton, TX and reports to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis.This position is integral to coordinating and developing the plan and forecast for Tax & Accounting. It provides consolidation and oversight to the financial health of the organization and liaises with Thomson Reuters corporate functions on financial matters.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the implementation of the Annual and monthly planning and forecasting processes, including enhancing forecasting (Hyperion based Planning Model). Responsible for planning and forecasting of revenue and expense with cash forecast oversight.Lead communication and change management in Tax & Accounting finance ensuring new processes and tools are rolled out to the broader organization.Develop financial result and leadership presentations for CFO of Tax & Account , incorporating strategy and key messaging as well as financial results.Complete portfolio analysis across Tax & Accounting by leading long term forecast, market analysis, product profitability and investment strategy reviews with each of the business units; then ensuring our investment dollars are aligned to our best opportunities.Create mechanisms to provide oversight to large key investments in the organization to ensure the business is achieving expected returns.Provide analysis into forecasts and results to highlight risks and opportunities in the business and provide headlights to performance giving business units opportunities to react and get back on track.Partner with plan system development teams to ensure enterprise wide systems support Tax & Accounting products and processes.Lead change initiatives across the business based on opportunities identified through analysis by evaluating opportunities and working with business units to implement change.Lead Tax & Accounting simplification efforts by coordinating efficiency work streams and acting as the lead point of contact for the Thomson Reuters simplification team providing guidance and insight on business unit practices. You will also be responsible for rolling out Thomson Reuters wide simplification initiatives.Maintain a leadership role in a variety of business initiatives, supporting key growth and/or productivity.Ensure a strong financial control environment in which all business and financial practices including accounting processes are in compliance with company policies & procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications:MBA or other related advanced degree required, CPA in addition a plus.At least 12 years progressive financial leadership experience.Strong financial acumen and highest integrity.Demonstrated leadership and self-initiative skills required, with the ability to interact well with people at various levels across an organization in an environment of changing priorities and time constraintsExperience working in a matrix reporting structure.Ability to develop strong partnership/team building relationshipsTrack record of improving financial and business operationsExcellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills, including experience presenting at the executive level.Proven ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environmentWhy is Thomson Reuters a great place for me to work?Each of us brings a unique perspective to our work.
