System Security Engineer I or II

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer, support, and monitor network security tools and services. Develop and maintain documentation important to the security program. Assess network risk and suggest appropriate actions. Participate in the development of hardware/software/network procedures and guidelines that support information security policies. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: 4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience in network and/or systems, 4-7 years of experience in network and/or systems management with a focus on information security; or a combination of education and experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: strong customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change, a positive attitude.
