Credit Analyst I

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide timely and quality financial spreading and analysis. Spread business and personal financial statements and prepare financial analysis. Prepare appropriate cash flow analysis to determine borrower's ability to service debt obligations. Work with Commercial Portfolio Managers to understand clients request and/or current financial performance. Evaluates credit relationships for compliance with loan policy and loan guidelines. Independently researches and analyzes company, industry and economic data. Assists with the preparation of approval packets for commercial loan requests and annual reviews. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE : BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or Associates degree plus 1-2 years of experience. 1-2 year(s) experience required. Banking or other related financial experience desired. REQUIRED SKILLS: Some banking or other related financial experience desired. Ability to research and understand commercial and commercial real estate lending and banking regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, 10 key.
