Description
Provide financial support within the Sales & Service Finance group. Reporting to the Finance Director, Sales & Service, this individual will play a key role in supporting the G&A and LifeSciences Sales teams within IP&S . This will include, but is not limited to, development of and maintaining monthly sales reporting and variance analysis, planning and forecasting processes, and working with business partners to develop additional reporting tools/metrics.
Key responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities and provide accurate financial reporting. Analyze variances to plan and forecasts
- Assist in the annual, quarterly and monthly forecast processes by providing detailed sales information/analysis such as: recurring/non-recurring sales mix, product mix and phasing
- Work with Sales Operations/Sales management teams within G&A and LifeSciences in establishing yearly targets
- Work with Innovation Industries Finance team to ensure sales forecasts are aligned with revenue assumptions. Understand dynamics of variances
- Pipeline & renewal forecasting/support for monthly calls
- Tracking of large deals and renewals
- Assist in the creation of additional sales metrics (i.e. sales volume by territory, performance reporting versus plan, retention by territory)
- Develop standard reports to be used by Sales management using C9
- Provide analysis and financial modeling in support of business initiatives, resource allocation and various KPI’s
- Collaborative business support for business cases and sales promotions
- Provide back office support and escalation regarding payment plans, billing issues and AR/FCF support
- Participate in IP&S/TR initiatives as required

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4+ years relevant progressive finance experience post Bachelor's Degree, experience within a Sales organization preferred
- Proven experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting and management reporting
- Detail orientated with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written, oral, analytical and technical skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to work on a team as well as independently and drive results
- Proven experience in use and application of Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities and time pressures
