Facility Monitor

GENERAL FUNCTIONS: This position will be primarily supervising individuals or groups who rent the Lodge at Beaver Lake and Commons Hall. The scheudle is flexible but the majority of the hours available are during weekends and events. The staff hired for this position may also have the opportunity to assists at the Rental Desk, which is open Monday to Friday from 9:00a-1:00p.

 

SUPERVISION: Works under the direct supervision of Recreation Supervisor.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a site or event coordinator for various special events, activities, and programs.
  • Assist in specific recreation program areas such as camps, classes, or special events.
  • Assist, as needed, with event set up and take down.
  • Provides quality customer service.
  • Opens and secures the facilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

     

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to positively and effectively communicate with all customers, service groups and staff
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Maintain equipment and grounds
  • Enforce rules and regulations with rental group, their guests and park users
