Maintenance Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineer

Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd shift JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise Maintenance and Tool & Die Departments on 2nd shift, with additional supervisory support of production operations, as needed. Responsible for installation and maintenance of plant equipment, machines and processes. Champion and lead plant preventive/predictive maintenance programs. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a high school degree (post-secondary degree preferred) and previous supervisory experience, along with: Five years' experience in Maintenance and/or Tool & Die Verifiable experience with preventive/predictive maintenance systems Knowledge of production machinery and processes, including robotic weld and painting applications and laser equipment Demonstrated ability to support/assist ergonomic and safety improvements Experience/involvement with Rapid Continuous Improvement Familiarity with standards and standard data development in a manufacturing facility Willingness to enforce company policies/procedures Must be willing to lead weekend work projects and/or work alternate shifts, as required. Manufacturing Engineer JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and implement plant and equipment lay-outs and new methods of manufacturing to reduce costs of operations; prepare cost estimates for new process; provide input to the long range facilities plan. Provide 2nd and/or 3rd shift engineering support for critical plant processes, along with supervisory support for skilled trades personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a BSIE, BSME or BSEE with knowledge/experience in the following: - Standards and standard data development in a manufacturing facility - Identifying and developing cost effective manufacturing methodologies - Rapid Continuous Improvement - Working knowledge of plant lay-out and Autocad - Robotic weld and painting applications - Laser equipment - PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers) Must be willing to work any shift.
