American Medical Personnel Services, Inc - Syracuse, NY - A large Specialty Medical Office is seeking to add a full-time, Direct Hire/Permanent Clinical Medical Assistant to it's health care team. PAY SCALE: $24,000.00 per year ($11.50 per hour) to $28,600.00 per year ($13.50 per hour) based on experience. JOB TYPE: Temporary to Permanent, Full-time. Includes HEALTH CARE BENEFITS. WORK HOURS: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Forty (40) hour work week. EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION: A minimum of One (1) year of work experience... as a Clinical Medical Assistant is mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent. JOB DESCRIPTION: Phlebotomy experience (160 or more human draws) not required but is a plus. Obtain patient assessments and scribe into EMR system. Have a working knowledge of medical terms and how they relate to the anatomy of the body. Prepare patients emotionally and physically for examination.
